The APaX Chickenfoot is an excellent compressor for the gigging musician. This little pedal will let you create long sustained leads or snappy clean licks and chords. The heart of the system is the CA3080 chip and a controllable circuitry that raises the volume on soft notes and levels off the peaks to a desired level. This pedal has two knobs to provide control for a sustained and constant output and can also act as a level booster for an expressive snappy attack.
